Hello! I’m Isa, a wedding photographer in Granada

Since I was a little girl I remember my mother with her camera on every trip and family event taking the photos for the family albums that I love to go back to from time to time.

Just by copying her, I got my first camera when I was 7, and I still have the photos I took of my friends and my dolls, set included.
So I think that's where my need to preserve memories in the best way, through photographs, comes from.

I studied graphic design and worked as a designer for a few years, but photography, which was still a hobby, started to interest me more and I wanted to keep learning so I quit my job and studied artistic photography at the Escuela de Arte de Granada. When I started working as a professional I fell in love with the world of weddings and decided that this was going to be my path.

I live each wedding as if it were the first and I put all my enthusiasm and effort into making sure that your day is summed up in looks, hugs, laughter and details that often go unnoticed but are important to tell your story in the best possible way.

I am patient and unobtrusive, and this is reflected in the photos as I can wait for the exciting moments and you will hardly notice me; what couples tell me most is that I capture their best memories with each important person without feeling like I am glued to them all the time.

Other details

When I'm not taking photos, I'm at my other full-time job: being a mum of two, who I love playing with, photographing when they let me, and sharing every new discovery with.

My favourite plan is a Quique González concert with my husband or a music festival weekend where I can listen to my favourite bands and discover new ones.

I don't like to cook but I do like to eat well and bake biscuits with my children.

Berlin is my favourite city in the world, I lived there for a few months and would love to go back for a while.

I don't watch TV but I love series and if I get hooked on one I could spend a whole day glued to the screen. "This is us" is one of my favourite shows of my life.

The day before a wedding I get a bit obsessive: I don't eat out or make any plans that involve driving, and if I can, I don't leave the house.

Isa is amazing! This was our first photoshoot as a couple and, having travelled all the way from Canada, we wanted it to be perfect…. Isa delivered! She was incredibly helpful in getting us ready for our shoot and then throughout the shoot itself, gently guiding us. She made the whole process seamless and fun! The whole experience of working with Isa was absolutely perfect; honestly, we couldn't ask for more from a wedding photographer. Excellent communication throughout the whole process and she put us totally at ease on the day, as did her lovely second shooter, Luna. Isa was so attentive to our needs that she totally understood and then complimented our preference for a more natural and relaxed style of editorial wedding photography. The shots completely sum up our glorious day in Granada. She made sure we also had wonderful candid images of all our guests. I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of perfect photographs, impeccably presented in an easy to use online album. She then also produced a stunning album with some 200 of our favourite photographs, which we will always cherish. I can't thank you enough!

Highly recommended. Isa is a sweetheart, she makes you feel super comfortable during the whole session, I did my pregnancy photos with her and when the time came to organize the wedding we knew it would be with her. I am very happy with the result and I recommend her encarecidamente❤️

She is wonderful both as a photographer and as a person. She did an incredible job with our photographs in a foreign country. My fiancée wanted to create a fairy tale for me and did a lot of research before hiring a stranger in a foreign country – and she nailed it.We wouldn’t have done it any other way, and our memories and special moments have been captured forever in such a poetic way – and all the credit goes to Isa.

It was an unforgettable experience and one that has left us with beautiful memories and incredible photos. Finding Isa was our luckiest thing. We had never done a photo session as a couple before and at first we were a little bit nervous, but with Isa everything was very easy and very pleasant. Having Isa as our wedding photographer was an excellent decision. I already knew her work through networks but she has exceeded our expectations. Attentive, super friendly and very respectful, especially for those of us who don't like to pose much. She has also been very quick, both to give us an advance to take away the desire to see the photos, and to deliver them all. She also offers cheaper packs for those of us who don't want albums or don't want a pack with 12 hours of work. The end result has been more than 850 beautiful photographs of our wedding that we can't stop looking at. I would recommend Isa 1 and 1000 times!!!!

A friend recommended Isa to me and, when I looked at her social media, I realised her style of photography was exactly what I was looking for. Our experience with her has been top-notch, both for the pre-wedding shoot and the wedding itself. For the pre-wedding shoot, which we’d booked months in advance, it turned out that rain was forecast for that very weekend, but Isa adapted to the change and did everything she could to ensure we got some beautiful photos, even though the light conditions on those days were against us. At the wedding, both she and Lidia did a magnificent job. I was pleasantly surprised by the photographs. Aside from the quality of the photographs, she managed to capture small details and moments that go unnoticed in the heat of the moment, but when you look at them again in photos, they bring you immense joy at having that memory to last a lifetime. I would definitely hire her again; she is straightforward, down-to-earth and very professional.
