Original photo shoots for weddings in Granada

Granada is a city full of charm, with its special light, rich history and diverse landscapes that make it a perfect setting for any wedding. As a wedding photographer, I know that every couple has a unique story to tell, and my aim is to capture that essence in an authentic and creative way. When I talk about original photographic reportsI don't just mean pretty pictures; it's about telling your love story with images that convey emotion, beauty and, above all, magic.

What makes a wedding report original?

For me, originality in a wedding reportage comes from the connection with the couple and the way we reflect their personality in the photos. Every wedding is different: the emotions, the details and the moments are unique. My mission as a photographer is to capture all of that, from the smallest gestures to the most significant moments.

An original wedding reportage doesn't follow a pre-established formula. Instead, it flows with you, capturing the spontaneous laughter, the glances full of complicity and those moments of pure happiness that happen naturally. My style is based on a mix of documentary and artistic photography, always looking for a balance between spontaneity and aesthetics.

Granada: the perfect backdrop for magical photo shoots

Granada has a special charm that turns every wedding into an unforgettable experience. From the cobbled streets of the Albaicín to the landscapes of the Sierra Nevada or the gardens of the Generalife, this city offers unique settings that add a touch of magic to any reportage.

Some of my favourite places to work include:

  • The Alhambra and the Generalife: The majesty of this historic site lends a fairy-tale air to the photos.
  • The Albaicín: Its narrow streets, with spectacular views of the Alhambra, are ideal for capturing intimate and romantic moments.
  • Rural estates on the outskirts: Perfect for outdoor weddings, they offer a natural and tranquil setting, ideal for reflecting the connection between the bride and groom.

Details that make a difference

It's the little details that really tell the story of a wedding. I love to photograph everything from the preparations to the most unexpected moments, such as a furtive glance between the bride and groom, the movement of the dress as you walk or the personalised decoration that you have chosen with so much love. These details not only enrich the reportage, but also reflect your personality and the feelings you have put into every aspect of the day.

In addition, paying attention to the light and the environment is key. In Granada, the light changes dramatically throughout the day, from early morning to dusk, creating unique opportunities to play with shadows, reflections and warm tones. The famous "golden hour" in this city is simply magical, and I always encourage couples to plan time for photos at this time of day.

How do we achieve a unique report?

The key is communication and connection. I always take the time to get to know the couples before the big day, understand their story, their tastes and what they expect from their photo shoot. This process not only helps me to personalise the approach of the session, but also makes you feel more comfortable in front of the camera, which translates into more natural and emotional photos.

Another important aspect is spontaneity. Although planning certain moments is necessary, I like to leave space for things to flow naturally. Some of the most beautiful photos I have taken have come from unplanned moments, when the couple simply enjoys being together.

My style as a photographer

My style combines the artistic with the emotional. I love capturing the essence of each couple, playing with light, colours and elements of the environment to create images that are both beautiful and meaningful. For me, a good wedding reportage is one that not only documents the day, but transports you back to those moments every time you look at the photos.

Granada, with its mix of history and nature, is a place that inspires. Whether it's an intimate wedding in a small garden or a grand celebration on a country estate, every event has its own magic, and my job is to make sure that magic is reflected in every image.

The importance of trusting your photographer

Your wedding day will be full of emotions, and the last thing you should worry about is the photos. That's why building a trusting relationship with your photographer is essential. I want you to feel relaxed and free to be yourself, because when you are comfortable, the photos reflect that authenticity.
