Photographic report of Marina and Paco
This wedding at La Concepción Botanical Garden in Malaga combined a religious ceremony in the church of San Miguel de Miramar with an outdoor reception amidst centuries-old palm trees and tropical species. Marina and Paco chose this historic space created in 1855 for an intimate celebration photographed from preparations to evening dancing. The garden, founded by the Marquises of Casa Loring and extended by the Echevarría-Echevarrieta family, offers unique corners such as the Cenador, the Casa Palacio and walks among flora from five continents, ideal for wedding photography.
Wedding preparations: family home and tailor-made dresses
Marina was dressed at her parents' home in a bespoke design inspired by a family gown. The dress, combined with a wild bouquet and handmade headdress of olive leaves and pan de culata, created a personal style that reflected the bride's connection to her family history. Paco also chose to get ready at his parents' home, surrounded by his closest family.

Wedding Ceremony in San Miguel de Miramar Church (Limonar, Malaga)
The ceremony was held in the Church of San Miguel de Miramar, located in the Limonar neighbourhood where Marina grew up. The words of the sisters of both bride and groom generated emotional moments during the religious celebration. The bride and groom's exit included a shower of olive leaves, a detail that allows natural light to be filtered under the trees in the atrium, generating warm images without the need for direct flash.

Reception at Jardín Botánico La Concepción: spaces and decoration
After the ceremony, the guests moved to the Botanical Garden where Marina and Paco welcomed them amidst the tropical vegetation of the venue. The dinner took place in front of the Casa Palacio under a canopy of lights designed by As Decoración de Eventos, which created a cosy atmosphere with warm lighting and tropical floral decoration adapted to the botanical surroundings of the space.

Casa Palacio: dinner set-up under a roof of lights
The set-up for the dinner was located on the esplanade in front of Casa Palacio. As Decoración de Eventos developed a lighting project that integrated suspended lights with the historical architecture of the building. The floral decoration followed a tropical line with species that mimicked the plants in the garden, generating visual continuity between the natural space and the decorative intervention.

First dance and night party in the Cenador
The bride and groom's first dance and party took place in the Botanical Garden's Cenador. This circular space allows us to work with ambient light until midnight without the need for direct flash, which maintains a natural atmosphere in the images of the dance and celebration. The guests enjoyed themselves until the early hours of the morning in this unique setting surrounded by greenery.
