Organizing a wedding at the Parador de Turismo de la Alhambra had been a long-time desire of mine as a wedding photographer in Granada. This ancient Nazarí palace from the 14th century, later converted into a convent, is a building steeped in history in every corner, blending Arabic and Christian influences.
When Elena and Antonio told me during our first meeting that their intimate wedding would take place in this charming location, it was a delightful surprise, and I couldn’t wait for the day to arrive.
Antonio got ready at his parents’ house, while Elena preferred to prepare in one of the rooms at the Parador. I have to admit, when I entered the room, I was completely enchanted by Elena’s YolanCris dress, so different from any I had seen before, and it looked even more beautiful when she put it on.
After the ceremony, we took some photos throughout this incredible building and then wandered through the gardens for a few moments to enjoy the sunset with stunning views of the Generalife.
